reliquias.tango.info is a website for people who are interested in the CDs of the Reliquias collection. There are currently 172 Reliquias discs in the tango.info database. Keep in mind that Reliquias is not fully dedicated to tango, therefore some of the discs contain other kind of music.

Barcodes

Each Reliquias CD has its own GTIN-14 barcode. They all start with 007243 followed by a six digit number that starts with 4, 5 or 8. These six digits are followed by a 2 (seems to be an identifier for 'disc') and than at the end have the checksum.

If you know you talk about Reliquias CDs then it is only necessary to know the six digits from position 7 to 12. Example: GTIN-14 is 007243 473891 2 2. On reliquias.tango.info you only need 473891.

Note: the GTIN-14 of the 'Tango Argentino' CDs of BMG Ariola start very similiar: 007432 allways followed by a 1. Thus they only need five digits to be identified wtihin their collection.
